How to use Aqua Swim Academy

Quick step-by-step guides for parents and adult swimmers — booking, tracking progress, makeups, the shop, and more. Most things take under 90 seconds.

How to book a swim class

Whether it's your first class or you're adding a sibling, booking takes about 90 seconds.

    Pick your nearest pool

    Open the home page and scroll to Class Schedule. Use the location filter at the top to pick your nearest pool — the schedule pre-filters instantly.

    Choose a class & level

    Each class card shows the level, day & time, instructor, and how many spots are left. Not sure which level your child is at? Try our 30-second Level Finder.

    Pick your plan

    Three options — Trial (CHF 39, single lesson), Monthly (CHF 130/month, cancel anytime), or Semester (best value). The booking page shows you exactly which dates are included for each option.

    Add your details & pay

    Quick form (swimmer details, parent contact). You'll be taken to a secure Stripe payment page where you can pay by card or TWINT. A confirmation email lands in your inbox within minutes.

💡 Pro tip

Most swimmers start with a trial — if you enrol afterwards, the trial fee acts as a no-commitment way to make sure the level fits.

How to create your customer portal account

After your first booking, set up your iClassPro account — that's where you'll manage bookings, attendance, makeup lessons, and your swimmer's progress.

    Open the customer portal

    Go to portal.iclasspro.com/aquaswimacademy and click Create account.

    Verify your email

    Use the same email address you used at checkout. iClassPro will send a verification link — click it to confirm your address.

  3. 3

    Add your details

    Enter your guardian name, contact details, and add each swimmer (name, date of birth, level). This only takes a couple of minutes.

    Wait 24–48h for your booking to appear

    Our team registers your booking on iClassPro within 24–48 hours of payment. Once registered, your class appears in My Classes with the full schedule, instructor, and attendance.

💡 Pro tip

Already booked with us before? You may already have an account — try the 'Sign in' option first with your usual email. If it's recognised, you'll just receive a sign-in link.

How to track your swimmer's progress

Every swimmer follows our 9-level skill tree. Your coach updates progress after each class — view it any time in the iClassPro portal.

    Sign in to iClassPro

    Open portal.iclasspro.com/aquaswimacademy and log in with your account email.

  2. 2

    Open Skill Tracker

    In the navigation, choose your swimmer and tap Skill Tracker (or "Suivi des compétences"). You'll see every skill in their current level with a tick alongside the ones they've mastered.

    Review skill-by-skill

    Each level breaks down into specific skills (e.g. "Floating with support", "Front crawl with breath"). Coaches tick them off as your swimmer demonstrates them in class.

How to register an absence & book a makeup

Life happens. If you can't make a class, register the absence at least 48 hours before and we'll issue a make-up token.

    Log into iClassPro

    Open portal.iclasspro.com/aquaswimacademy with your iClassPro credentials.

  2. 2

    Mark the absence at least 48h ahead

    Find the class in your bookings → tap Mark absent. You'll instantly receive a make-up token (max 2 per month, 60-day expiry).

  3. 3

    Book any open slot at any location

    In iClassPro, browse open spots in classes at the same level (any location). Tap to book. Your token is consumed — no extra payment.

💡 Pro tip

If you mark the absence less than 48h before, we can't issue a token — please plan ahead so we can offer the spot to a swimmer on the waitlist.

How to prepare for your first lesson

Make day one stress-free for both you and your swimmer.

    Pack the basics the night before

    Swimsuit, towel, goggles, water bottle. Babies + Level 1 & 2 need a reusable swim diaper on top of the disposable.

    Arrive 10 minutes early

    Allow time to park, change, and meet your coach poolside. Family-friendly changing rooms are inside the main pool entrance.

  3. 3

    Check in at reception (or skip it)

    Some venues have reception, others don't — your coach will be expecting you. If you can't find them, ask at reception or open the chat on our website.

  4. 4

    Relax and enjoy

    The first 5 minutes are about getting comfortable in the water. Your coach paces the lesson around your swimmer's confidence — there's no pressure to "get it right" on day one.

How to use the shop

Order swim gear and we'll bring it to your next class — no shipping fees over CHF 50.

    Browse the shop

    Visit book.aquaswim.ch/en/shop — wetsuits, goggles, swim diapers, towels, water bottles.

    Add to cart

    Pick your size and colour where applicable. The cart pill in the corner stays visible as you browse.

    Choose delivery or pickup

    Pay securely via Stripe (card or TWINT). Pickup at your next class is free — home delivery costs CHF 8 (free over CHF 50).

How to refer a friend

Share Aqua Swim Academy with another family — both of you get 10% off.

    Generate your code

    Go to /referral, enter your name and email, and we'll create a unique 10%-off code linked to you.

    Share with friends

    WhatsApp, email, or just say it in the changing rooms. They use your code at checkout for 10% off their first month.

    Get your reward

    When they enrol, 10% is automatically applied to your next month's payment. No limit on how many friends you refer.

Frequently asked questions

Answers to the questions parents ask us most often.

How do I cancel or reschedule a class?

Sign in to your iClassPro portal, find the class in your bookings, and tap 'Mark absent' to register an absence. If you cancel at least 48h ahead, you'll receive a make-up token. If you want to cancel your membership entirely, email luna@aquaswim.ch with at least 30 days' notice.

What should I bring to my first lesson?

A swimsuit, a towel, goggles, and a water bottle. For babies in Level 1 & 2, also bring a reusable swim diaper to wear on top of the disposable. Wetsuits are optional but recommended for cooler pools (Coppet, Lausanne EHL).

How do I see my swimmer's progress?

Sign in to book.aquaswim.ch/portal and tap 'Skills' in the side menu. You'll see all 9 levels with skill-by-skill ticks updated by your coach.

Can I switch between group and private lessons?

Yes — email luna@aquaswim.ch or chat with us online and we'll arrange the change for the next billing cycle.

Is there an age limit?

No. We teach from 3 months (parent-baby Level 1) all the way up through adults. Levels 1–3 are age-grouped, Levels 4–9 are ability-grouped.

Where can I see invoices for my health insurance claim?

Sign in to the portal → 'Invoices'. QualiCert-signed invoices become available 1 month after each payment. Most Swiss complementary insurers reimburse up to CHF 1,300/year of swim lessons.

What happens if a class is cancelled by the school?

We'll let you know by email and SMS as soon as we know. You'll automatically get a make-up token added to your account — no need to claim it.

Can I bring siblings?

Yes! Add a second swimmer at checkout to unlock a 10% sibling discount automatically. No limit on how many siblings.
